Accepting These Terms
By loading up Blip Arcade and diving into your first run — whether you're navigating neon corridors or unlocking hidden boss arenas — you're agreeing to these Service Terms. They exist to keep the game fair, the community healthy, and the experience great for everyone who shows up to play. If you don't agree with any part of what's written here, please don't use the service.
Your Account and Responsibilities
You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for everything that happens under your username — from the scores you post on the leaderboard to the messages you send in any community features. Don't share your login with others or use automated tools to gain an unfair advantage in Blip Arcade's challenge modes; that ruins the competitive balance that makes climbing the rankings feel meaningful. We reserve the right to suspend or permanently ban accounts that break these rules.
Intellectual Property in the Game World
Every pixel of Blip Arcade — the character designs, the hand-crafted level layouts, the original soundtrack that kicks in when you hit a combo streak — belongs to us or our licensed content partners. You're granted a personal, non-transferable licence to play the game for your own enjoyment, but that doesn't extend to copying, distributing, or building derivative works without our written permission. Fan art and non-commercial content shared lovingly online? We think that's wonderful and don't want to get in the way of it.
Prohibited Conduct
Blip Arcade is a place for skill, curiosity, and competition — not for harassment, cheating, or exploiting bugs to grief other players. Specifically prohibited: using cheat software or memory editors to manipulate scores, impersonating other players or staff members, and attempting to access game systems or data you're not authorised to reach. Violations may result in immediate account termination, and in serious cases we'll involve the relevant authorities.
Service Availability and Updates
We work hard to keep Blip Arcade online and running well, but browser games live in a dynamic environment and occasional downtime for maintenance or unexpected issues is inevitable. We may add new levels and mechanics, retire older content, or adjust game balance at any time — that's part of what keeps the arcade feeling alive and worth returning to. We don't guarantee uninterrupted access and aren't liable for losses arising from temporary unavailability.
Limitation of Liability
Blip Arcade is provided as-is, and while we're genuinely proud of what we've built, we can't guarantee the game will always perform perfectly on every combination of browser, device, and network. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any issues arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you've paid us in the twelve months prior to the claim — or, if you've never made a purchase, a nominal amount. This doesn't affect any statutory rights you have that cannot legally be waived.
Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by applicable law in the jurisdiction where the service is operated. If you have a dispute with us, we'd strongly prefer to resolve it through direct conversation first — most things can be sorted out that way, and it's faster for everyone. If a formal resolution becomes necessary, disputes will be handled through the courts of the relevant jurisdiction as required by law.
Updates to These Terms
As Blip Arcade evolves — expanding maps, new game modes, maybe even multiplayer arenas down the road — these Terms may need updating to reflect the new reality. We'll always give registered players advance notice of significant changes via email and an in-game announcement. Your continued use of the service after the effective date of any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
