What We Collect While You Play
When you jump into Blip Arcade, we collect basic technical data your browser sends automatically — things like your IP address, device type, browser version, and the pages you visit within the game. If you choose to create an account to save your high scores and progress across the arcade's many levels, we also store the username and email address you provide. We never ask for more than we genuinely need to keep your adventure running smoothly.
How Your Data Powers the Game
The information we gather is used to deliver Blip Arcade's core experience: remembering where you left off in a dungeon run, loading your unlocked character skins, and serving the leaderboard rankings that make every session feel competitive and alive. We also use aggregated, anonymised play data to understand which levels are most popular and where players tend to get stuck, so our designers can fine-tune difficulty curves and add content that keeps the world fresh. We do not sell your personal data to third parties, full stop.
Third-Party Services We Partner With
Blip Arcade uses a small set of trusted third-party tools — primarily analytics providers and hosting infrastructure — to keep the game fast and reliable for players around the world. Each of these partners is contractually bound to process your data only for the specific purpose we've defined and never for their own commercial ends. We review these relationships regularly to make sure standards stay high.
How Long We Keep Your Data
Active account data — your profile, scores, and unlocks — is retained for as long as your account remains open, because losing your progress would be genuinely devastating after you've cleared all of World 5. If you delete your account, all personally identifiable information is removed from our servers within 30 days, with no recoverable copies left behind. Anonymised statistical data may be retained longer to help us understand long-term player trends without ever pointing back to you.
Your Rights as a Player
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request a correction if something looks wrong, or ask us to delete your account and everything tied to it. Depending on where you're playing from, you may also have the right to data portability — meaning you can request a copy of your data in a machine-readable format. To exercise any of these rights, simply reach out through the contact details provided on this site, and we'll respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
Children Playing Blip Arcade
Blip Arcade is designed to be a welcoming experience for a broad audience, but we ask that players under 16 have a parent or guardian review these terms and agree on their behalf before creating an account. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. If we become aware that a child's data has been submitted without appropriate consent, we remove it promptly.
Changes to This Policy
As Blip Arcade grows — new worlds, new mechanics, new ways to connect with other players — our data practices may need to evolve alongside it. When we make meaningful changes to this policy, we'll notify registered players by email and post a clear notice within the game itself before the changes take effect. Continuing to play after that date means you're comfortable with the updated terms.
